This will just push mexico to deal directly with China and further distance itself economically with the US.

Mexico is the second largest customer for American goods, with the largest share of said goods coming out of Texas.
Customers buy things because they need them. I imagine you were one of the people saying CA has leverage because they are the biggest producer of produce and supplies the rest of the country... Which is it? I do business in Mexico and spend 6 months+ a year there, the corruption is astounding. All of you thinking she is going toe to toe with the US is delusional.
