No.

Capital 25 Blue is one of their most talented Blue teams in a while. Not saying others are not talented, but they are truly deep and really came into their own this summer.

People who make the comments about B teams mean well and I think they are right for most programs. Just not Capital and possibly M&D.

I made the comment based on many conversations with parents who have gone through this on B teams. This is not directed at Capital at all. Its a generalized comment. Based on what I know about Capital, its a top rated program with a high number of high academic kids, and that could be the difference in getting a B player on a nice lax program, who may otherwise not be regarded as a A player. End of day, who cares, the goal should be to get into best program college you can.

Okay, let me revise that statement, you almost never want to play on a B team. Sure, playing on a club without much history of recruiting is not good, but B teams in general are ALWAYS going to advocate for the A team players first and foremost. That's just reality. There's been some cases where a M&D black has been loaded and its trickled down to the Red kids as well, but by and large, you are on the back burner until the A kids have landed.

There's an old real estate quote about you never want to be the most expensive house on the block and same goes for never wanting to be the top player on the B team. You will nearly always get undersold.
