Kate didn't set him up. Collin is speaking out. Telling his side. Did he think that Kate wasn't going to tell her side and let his accusations stand? Of course she was going to respond. Collin doesn't seem very smart. Also, why isn't he going to college?
His mom stole his college money so he’s going the Uncle Sam route. His 2 older sisters had to take loans to go to college I guess he don’t want to do that.
So, TV ruined his life so he's going back to TV to tell his story first chance he gets at 18? For money. Sounds like he should better be able to understand his mom's greedy motivations while he does the same thing. Just because he can do this, doesn't mean he should. It's continuing a bad cycle. Also I've read the kids all do have trusts. They probably just don't have access to all the money the minute they turn 18 but will age into it.
He is 19! The twins are 23. Any money that was in a trust Kate used long before they turned 18.
Collin started speaking out when he was 18. He's 19 now and continues to do so. That is his right, but then to get mad that his other siblings and mother might want to defend themselves or respond seems a little shortsighted and goes to show how unwell Collin is and how much more therapy he needs. Collin should just get on with his life.
I don't think there's nothing left in the trust funds. When Collin crashed his car it looked like a brand new car. Where did he get the money for that?
Yes Collin is the first ever 19yo who thinks he knows it all. A sure sign of mental illness. His attitude actually reminds me a lot of his father, which could be why Kate couldn’t stand him from the start.
And it may be surprising but kids who live in far suburbs/rural areas need cars to get to their jobs. The car he totaled looked flashy but wasn’t a luxury vehicle.
19 yr olds with part time after school jobs can't afford those cars. I thought Jon was broke? Where did he get the money.

Yeah. It’s a piece of cake to “ get on with your life” when your mother institutionalized you and made sure you were isolated from any support and rejected by your siblings and scapegoated. There is something wrong with you that you are determined to drag this young abused person.
Young abused person should just be quiet if he can't handle the blow back. Does he know nothing about his mom?

A good parent would never respond as she has. A good parent would still try to protect their child even if they had problems. A good parent would not give up on a child like she did. A good parent would not block the other parent from seeing their child. Is it true that her response came in the form of a paid interview with People magazine?
How can Kate make these accusations if she hasn’t seen him in years?
You’re as vile as Kate and as brainwashed as some of her kids.
