So just spinning this out - does this guarantee him the R nomination? Like are Rs that self-destructive?

Twitter makes it look so - a lot of people saying they'd been considering D but now of course it's T and only T. But Twitter isn't real life. On the other hand, for the Rs Twitter kind of is real life?

I see it as a victory for justice. Donald Trump is corrupt to his core and I am thrilled that he is getting what he deserves and I hope he is convicted and goes to prison and in in general population!

I mean...BFD? There aren't enough Republicans to move that needle. You think Independents are going to rally around him? Will he even convince Republicans that they can trust the voting process this time so that they show up and wait in lines?

No, they won't. When Alvin Bragg decides to reduce over 50% of the felony charges in his city to misdemeanors, there is no way he can justify that.
He can't really justify this indictment.
