It's a private company, I don't honestly get the outrage.

What exactly is a "shadow ban"? I thought a shadow ban is when you are essentially muted. You can post, but nobody can see your tweet. What Weiss is describing is "deboosting" which means that you can tweet, and anyone following you can see your tweet, but it might not show up in searches and won't be eligible to trend. If deboosting is bad, explain this:

Has she revealed any evidence that what they said was untrue. It looks like what she is calling "shadow banning" was Twitter tagging certain accounts that violated the ToS so they were de-emphasized in search results, etc., but that practice was public and on their own website.
