3. What kind of psychopathic child would not just deal with this in private? Even if your parent danced weirdly at your wedding, and you're furious, then worst case scenario just stop speaking to them. Who goes out of their way years later to tell the whole world about it? psychotic.

When your narc wife tells you to do it or else, a weak man does it.

Something's not right. He and his wife said they did the vow renewal bc they were so traumatized by their wedding. The fact that her parents are encouraging all of this (which is pretty obvious is appalling). Nelson Peltz doesn't have a good reputation, and there's a reason for that. A quick google should tell any sane person all the info they need to know to take a side in this feud (in the event the Beckhams track record wasn't enough evidence that they aren't terrible parents).

I mean, who really needs to take a side? They're all absurdly rich. Also quite eccentric. That tends to happen when you're rich and no one ever corrects you / tells it to you straight. It's just the circus of the day. I can empathize with both sides. But I don't really bother because it's all performative and they'll all be just fine. It's a nice distraction while WWIII is brewing.

Really?

They're tacky, grasping weirdos. Second only to the Kardashians in their fakeness. Valuable brand my ass. Maybe across the pond, but not in the US.

You can say what you want by they are worth $600 million dollars. That seems valuable to me.

Right? If it was worthless Brooklyn wouldn’t be so mad.

Exactly and I just have to add- they are nothing like the Kardashians! The Beckham brand was built on top of both of their successful first careers (sports and music). They aren't "famous for being famous." They actually had some credibility.

People respect people who are self made. They have less tolerance for the spoiled kids acting up.

Meh. David Beckham is a great soccer player. Victoria Beckham was in a band that had its 15 minutes of fame and is now famous for being married to David and being really skinny.

You are underplaying their accomplishments quite a bit. They are very self-made. They parlayed their initial successes (which took work, especially David, when younger) into more sustainable long-term businesses. He is the president and an owner of Miami FC among other things. She has her fashion label and a makeup line among other things. They may not be Pelz-level but their kids grew up in luxury.

+1. The Spice Girls weren't a one-hit wonder. They were a household name in the 90s. It's laughable to say she had 15 minutes of fame. Then Victoria pivoted to another career before you could do that simply by posting on Instagram.

Brooklyn's "takedown" of his parents is shameful. He's not lifting the curtain on anything top-secret. He's having a temper tantrum.

That’s your opinion. I think a MIL not correcting the behavior of a guest rudely calling her the most beautiful person in the room on her son’s wedding day is shameful. I think trying to restrict an adult child’s use of their own name is shameful.

Maybe Brooklyn and Nicola are awful people. Don’t know them and don’t care to know them. But I do think that not accepting your adult son’s wife after they’ve been married for years is not mature adult behavior by Posh and Becks.

Great- what do you propose Victoria should have done in the moment in front of 500 guests to the person gifting the bride and groom a music set? Marc Anthony said what he said out of his affection for Victoria, not to diss the bride. Everyone can see Nicola is beautiful. This is something you laugh about and move on from. Not use as an example to go scorched earth over 4 years later.

+1 spoiled and immature "adults"

The fact that Cruz Beckham liked this post making fun of the supposed mom/son dance to the song "if you're horny let's do it" is so younger sibling coded.

Actually he’d fit in quite well there as they would eat this up. But in the real world he’s a joke.

I find it odd that someone would bolt from their own wedding crying over a bandleader's nightclub style patter.

I also think it's odd to want a wedding redo 3 years later where your dad is the officiant, wearing the dress your mom wore to get married to your dad.
It’s a creepy level of enmeshment. With so many siblings maybe she’s just vying for “most favored child” to get the biggest inheritance. I wonder what her siblings think of her antics.
Her family went on their honeymoon with them! Enmeshment 101

I think she has always been a favored child - at least to her mom. she was the spoiled youngest for 10+ years and a girl. Sounds like she was allowed to be nasty to household help and didn’t treat them well. Her father’s net worth is in the billions so I don’t think she needs to be very worried about her share.
They have matching family tattoos: “Family First” barf. These people are beyond weird.

Oh so you’re one of those anti MIL wackadoodles. The only shameful behavior is two grown ass adults crying about such things in public when they haven’t worked a day in their lives and have never experienced hardship. It’s extremely tone deaf in today’s climate.

You sound like one of those wackadoodles who thinks they know about the lives of anonymous posters on the internet where there are dozens of people posting at the same time.

Bizarre that you want to defend the hard lives of the elder Beckhams, who are living off their names, past fame and passive income. I doubt the elder Beckhams or Brooklyn and his wife work particularly hard by the standard of someone with a full-time job. But maybe you know them (or are one of those “wackadoodles” who spend their days reading about celebrities and feel like they’re your best friends.)

Lol, ok. Their hard working son is worthy of more respect from you for doing what exactly?

My NYT alert this morning was literally this: Greenland, Davos, and Brooklyn Beckham.

GMA just did a segment.

This is bananas.

No family (especially celebs at this level) should have international media coverage of family drama…sparked by a wedding that happened years ago. This is either the most toxic family on the planet or a Hollywood stunt.

If they were toxic I’d expect a little more than this. The allegations are amusing and not shocking.

?

Airing dirty laundry in public isn’t normal.

Of course it’s not but if you’re going to do it I’d expect more than what we’re talking about here. Does this really rise to any level of shock or abuse? He’s mad his parents treated him like an adult with their branding business and is mad he didn’t get his money for not going along with it. He was expecting a pay day and didn’t get it. This is a child mad about not getting their allowance. Embarrassing for him.
