I don't recall the NAACP raising a similar concern in 2017 when FCPS proposed to elevate Scott Brabrand, then the superintendent of a school system with fewer than 9000 students, to the FCPS Superintendent's position. One can only wonder what changed between 2017 and 2022. Could it possibly be the race of the final candidates this year?

Sometimes the appearance reflects the personality. Dr. Reid she reminds me of my former neighbor who pretended to be friendly while she was a total crazy, provoking person. I just hope this will not be the case of the new FCPS captain.

They got by their own admissions they only got 20 from Westfield , 50 from McLean and 100 from Mount Vernon but this was out of over 7000 students from those schools. A very small number at best. For comparison there were around 300 walkouts per school in the aftermath of the Parkland s


Key words "by their own admissions" which means the numbers were significantly lower, obviously.

This isn’t something that high school kids would even protest. Not credible in the slightest. So stupid.
