I can understand FH as they were in the A division last year.
Embarrassing.
Why are some posters so preoccupied with Potomac? They are not a top program in the area.

OLGC will win handily. Much better team and already beat them easily. But also OLGC deserve credit for their scheduling. They don’t hide from anybody, playing the best teams in ISL and IAAM.

Huge differential between the ISL AA and A divisions. Funny to see some AA teams load up their schedules with A teams to pad their records.

Top team in ISL A division moves up to AA for the next season and bottom team in AA moves down to A. This happens every year based on record from previous year. Every ISL team sport works this way - basketball, soccer, field hockey, volleyball, lacrosse, etc…
For next year (Spring ‘23) in girls lacrosse Bullis will be in ISL A division and NCS will move up to ISL AA.
Sorry - correction. Flint Hill is at bottom of ISL AA this year. Flint Hill will move down to ISL A division. NCS will be the team to move up to AA. You can see the standings on the ISL DC website here: https://www.islathletics.com/sport/0/3
The move down makes sense. I think for other sports the promotion is based on the A-level tournament (my daughter's team won the A-level tournament at a different sport but not the regular season and we were told they are being moved up -- she's a senior so I might not have paid full attention).
