ECNL parents freaking out.
Let me tell you something and hear me out.
Go look at the USYNT b&g side and you will see:
Boys: if you don’t play MLSNext….You aren’t going to the YNT.
Girls: if you don’t play for a top 25 club in ECNL and top 10 club in GA….. you aren’t going to the YNT.
Shhh... Stop, too much truth.
The real threat is that coat tail ECNL parents with kids on losing ECNL teams can no longer claim that losing in ECNL is somehow better than playing in other leagues.

ECNL added/promoted 4 teams keeping in line with only brining in the best girls clubs to the ECNL. All promotions from RL. at least 15 GA teams applied to ECNL and were rejected. There are probably only 10-12 clubs that ECNL would take in reality

(Also, my niece who has played for KHA for years is leaving the program because of the shift to GA. The girls side feels completely sold out for the boy's side).

sold out for the boys is 100% correct. it is really sad for the girls what is happening. it is happening all over
So let me get this straight, you are leaving the club because it didn't get ECNL but most of their teams are ranked lower than USYS E64 teams and you are upset and it's a sell out? Why should this club get ECNL...their best team is the 09s and they lost in Arizona in Pool Play in USYS Quarterfinals (they played USYS and ECNL-RL from what i'm seeing). I don't get the complaint.
