Summarizing the Bullis posts. Bullis didn't need all the athletic scholarships to be competitive. They needed them to have a large edge and win the championships. They are back to being competitive and have cleaned up Boarman's mess. Without the upper school junior and senior transfers, they weren't able to supplement the '25 scholarships. Judging from the depth on this year's team and what's behind them, they'll probably be fighting for 3rd. And DCE will probably struggle to exist without Anzelone's interest.

Bellistri benefitted Gerry Boarman the former idiot headmaster who nearly bankrupted the school (see Washington Post article from 3 years ago) Bullis lax benefited immensely under the previous headmaster, with more FA, and much more clout over admittions. The school turned a blind eye to senior transfers and even mid-year transfers, and admitted some kids with questionable behavior records. Basically, if you were an athlete, you were admitted to the school and had a vastly different admissions process than regular applicants.
From what I've heard from current Bullis parents, the current headmaster has done a great job cleaning up the books and digging out of the mess Boaran brought to the school.
Haha this poster hates when Bullis does well. There will be more of it and you will remain an ugly keyboard loser.

Bullis will fade after the 2025 class graduates.
Anzelon (a former board member) has kept the program alfloat with pushing DCE kids to Falls Road.
Once his son graduates, I doubt he will stay super connected to the program.
