Parent is just a hater. GA is an easy 2nd but a big step behind ECNL.
ECRL is closer to GA than GA is to ECNL. I mean ECRL and USYS probably place about the same number of kids in college if I was guessing. I know ECNL places roughly 70% in D1 followed by GA with just over 20%. The rest are International, RL and USYS.

While it is yet another ECNL to GA it isn't exactly a huge deal. Even though the Texas conference is far better than the North Atlantic Tulsa is still the PDA South of that conference.
