Valor doesn’t have good coaches, a cohesive development strategy, or talent. Otherwise, it’s a standard travel club taking advantage of all the wealth in the area and delusional u9-u12 parents.

There are Valor players coming all the way from Loudoun and Springfield that I know of. There are probably some who are making longer trips.

Driving that much every week for a low level club is bonkers.

South Lakes is far far away from Clifton and Centreville. Sully is really at the edge of Valor's area. I don't know of any kids who have played Valor who live in Reston.

I would not consider SLHS anywhere near the Valor area but that's great that their coaches are development minded and trying to build their program.

My kid's school Westfield only has a handful of freshman (5-6?) on JV and none on Varsity. I assumed that was the norm.

Interesting to see the variations between high schools of similar size.

How is south lakes not in Valor territory? The kids that go to rachel carson middle go to South Lakes and Rachel Carson is like a mile from sully.

Honestly, I think you are giving too much credit here, not to mention it's odd to carry this 2023 trip cancelation two years later still.

It was a poorly planned and poorly timed tournament to take place in Florida in February 2023. The organizational meeting wasn't even scheduled until December 2022 and several parents voiced concerns at the meeting and privately that nothing had been set up for this event to actually take place just two months later. But sure, give one mom the credit for bringing down the entire trip.

In 2023 they tried to do a Florida trip again and it was canceled too due to the majority of parents not liking the December schedule. The team eventually had a trip in Feb 2024 to Phoenix (where they played a team from Richmond).
no i was on the inside at valor. Your antics and spinning up parents is what got both trips canceled. It was discussed about just cutting your kid to get it to stop. In both cases coaches told us pre season and in the fall about trips. I was also on all your team snap messages. Seriously you need help. And stop doxing yourself.

Thanks, Dan, for your insight.

90% of those offers are out. My guess is 1-3 spots are available per top team. Good luck

Has anyone received an offer for a 2nd team (or lower team)?

What a bullsh!t story lol. Valor paid poster is SO bad at this I almost feel bad for him.

May want to check your facts or talk to your kid again (not the mom who posted)

WOW. I cannot believe you are on here claiming I am not telling the truth about my Freshman on SLHS Varsity who also plays for Valor. Please.

If YOU are telling the truth, that you do have a kid on the JV team, then I've fed your kid every week at the team dinners.
Please introduce yourself to me next game or event - no more home games (where you might have seen me during your son's JV game in concessions at just about every game), but I updated the SignUp Genius for next week's team dinner (have you signed up for Salads, Fruits, Veggies or Drinks yet??) so you can find me there.

In the meantime, there are plenty of public places you can check this out -- need a visual?

SLHS team pic. GKs -- the one on the Left is the Junior, Middle is the injured Senior, and my kid is the one on the Right, he's a Freshman.

Here's a picture of him at the Valor Gala that was made fun of earlier in this thread --

BTW - he's one of two (not a few) Freshman on the Varisty Team.

AYEEEYOOOOOOO somebody popped the cork on the BIG bottle of wine today. Posting pics and identifying info of underage kids is WILD!

Somebody come save this woman, she's had too much internet for today

Seriously, calm down Ms. Meade
