The federal marshals this guy encountered at Kavanaugh’s house have nothing to do with Larry Hogan.

Also the marshals encountered him AFTER he called the Montgomery County police. He was still on the phone with the police when the marshals came up to him. Read the complaint.

Very few compared to the total number who trespassed illegally, and most of them got very minor slap on the wrists. Which I'm actually OK with, given they did not hurt any police officers, deface property or steal. It's the big fish we're after.

Because there were 45,222 gun deaths in 2020.
You'd need armed protection on every street corner, and most of all, inside every home, to prevent the major causes of gun deaths, which are suicides and accidental discharge. And it still wouldn't work, because how are you going to stop those with more guns?!?

It is BLINDINGLY OBVIOUS that gun bans are the only answer. This is what other countries implemented without a second thought when they had mass shootings, and lo and behold, their gun deaths aren't even half that of the US, per capita.

People will always be mentally ill. People who commit suicides with something other than a gun are rarely successful. Those who use guns are nearly always successful. You can stop deadly accidents by not having guns in the house in the first place. You can decrease guns on the street with buyback programs. You can stop mass shooting with an assault weapons ban.

Educate yourself on firearm death statistics, how they happen and with what type of firearm, before you suggest total garbage.

Then you'll know not to defend murderers and their accomplices on the Supreme Court.

The GOP has been telling us for the last couple years that violently attacking government officials for doing their jobs is no big deal. They’ve condoned attacks on poll workers, public health officials and legislators. The attitude that this is ok is entirely on the GOP.
