The best GA team in DMV is probably 2009 VRSC.
The worst ECNL team is probably Bethesda 2009s.
The two teams played at VDA Showcase and Bethesda won 2-0.
Can we move on now?
BOOOOOOOOM!
The best 2012 GA Team is SYC and the best 2012 ECNL Team is ASA and SYC won in WAGS 3 to 1
GA is winning in the younger years and ECNL is not. BOOM. This will carry on in future years due to the shift. Can we move on now

We still have another month or so but doesn't seem like any significant move will be made.
Why do you keep painting yourself into a corner? There will be more announcements and you're going to look stupid.
Also there's both good and bad clubs in both GA and ECNL. There are more top clubs in ECNL right now but that could quickly flip if clubs want MLSN.
This is a BOOM.

They cherry pick for some fact or detail that's positive then they try to make it seem like it applies to all of ECNL. With Natuonals they're digging up things that occurred multiple years ago. Will Nationals switch back to GA/MLSN now that the partnership is in play? Who knows.
None of the cherry picked details matter if you're kid isn't playing on a top 50 team. It definately doesn't apply to 95% of DMV ECNL clubs.

Last year they ROLLED through the regular season and playoffs to win a GA National Championship. The argument could be made that 29 ECLN teams could have won a GA National Championship last year (or any year). If you're in the younger age groups be prepared that every year it gets more and more clear that all the best players and clubs are in the ECNL. Don't buy into your coach or club director's crap that they are neck and neck and the ga is gaining on them. Simply not true.
Huh? The 2010s last year in GA, at u13, went 1-2 at the playoffs https://system.gotsport.com/org_event/events/19035/schedules?group=190772 and lost in quarter finals at the Champions Cup https://system.gotsport.com/org_event/events/19033/schedules?group=163911
Last year was 2023/24. You posted results of 2022/23.
Nationals 2010 won Champions Cup & National Championship last year.
Nationals also was a finalist at 2007 & 2009 National Finalist
Won 2008 Champions Cup (3rd place finish)
Was GA overall club champion for the second time in 3 years
Pretty crazy club accomplishment, very dominant.
Although they have not dethroned Michigan Hawks & SLSG in Year 1, they are doing just fine... good clubs are good clubs regardless of platform and that Midwest ecnl conference is loaded
