Happy enough with the future team and environment that DC will be able to continue to develop.
You missed year and B or G.

You missed the part where PP said "if you're comfortable sharing" year and B/G.

I'm not the person you're responding to but we are happy with the team selection for next year. Sad to see some families go but we will see them at future games when FVU plays their new club.

Hmm, if you are a parent, surely you speak of this freely at practices.

This oversimplifies things. In a soccer match played by the rules, a team of small but highly skilled professional female soccer players will run circles around a team of big, fast, and strong male basketball players. But it’s also true that a team of highly skilled professional female soccer players will struggle against a team of somewhat less skilled male soccer players. At some point the skill advantage is not enough to overcome the speed/size/strength disadvantage. The question is where those lines cross.

No. The basketball players would still win.

But you can easily see this in games. If a striker of an opposing team is faster than the fullbacks, good luck winning. I don't care how skilled your fullback is, he/she better be fast. You can't use your technical skills to stop someone that you can't catch.

Why are there small men on nearly every team in the major European leagues? Surely there are bigger / faster / stronger men who would love to have their roster spots.

Love how folks keep comparing tail end distributions to normality. Those small men are not slow nor do they represent the full 10 field players. Messi’s are rare.. but when you talk about a large distribution of players yea that 1 in million kid exists.. all you are telling us is your kid and slow or small.. and you are hoping it will not hurt them.. sorry it does

What in holy h are you all talking about and what does it have to do with Brave and Union?

Give a life or at the very least start another thread titled “ramblings of a soccer dad”

Two clarifications: “Ramblings of an American soccer dad or coach”

Any thoughts on how Union divorce and FVU marriage will impact MYS 2013Gs next year, if at all?
