Capital’s equal playing time is very attractive to someone that may only play a quarter or less currently.
Well, does anyone know if any showed up?
Be happy those players aren’t showing up as they’d all take spots away from your DD. The average Pride and Stars parents are celebrating this morning.
Currently the over/under is 1.5.
If that line is number of current MD players ending up on Cap Blue, I would take the over.
Who would want to join this mess? Spare me the Capital is great at recruiting line, the parents here are awful as evidenced by the nasty and unprovoked comments directed at MD families.
Love this guy. Throws darts and cries foul. Forgets the vitriol from MD families started it all. Same guy who cuts people off in traffic, acts like he did nothing wrong, and throws a middle finger when someone dares to honk. Capital has solidified its place as a top national club that rivals the Md teams and is now taking recruiting spots away from them to the top programs. And they don’t like it. That’s at the root of it all.

This forum is not real life. There are provocateurs and imposters among us. My kid plays for one of the teams that would presumably supply a good number of players. That team had a bunch of nice girls and nice parents and everyone got along. I would guess the Capital teams would have a similar culture.

First, this is a rude comment on several levels.
Second, equal playing time is attractive to many players. In my experience, there are far fewer unhappy players and parents when playing time is spread equally. Again in my experience, being on a second tier top team and playing half the game is better than being on a fist tier top team and barely playing.

Pretty businesslike and professional. Players seem to know the drill. Solid energy; engaged coaches.
Lots of 27s, including players on Capital currently, which was interesting.
27s have full tryouts again this summer including current players. This is why you see 27s and current players at the clinics.
Is that the normal process for each team each year?
Yes.

Second tier MD players are better than top DC players? That is crazy.
And untrue
There were a few Maryland players there this evening. They were the ones were on the HUN pinnnies.
