You really need to go listen to the Murdaugh Murders podcast. It goes into quite a bit of history and detail. After listening to the f'ed up things he did to so many people it's not at all surprising that he's going to be charged (the podcast talks about how he had "high velocity" blood spatter that could only come from close range to the actual shooting (think blood mist vs blood splatter).

I will try to go back and listen. So the implication is that the wife was really the target, and the son was just collateral damage?

How and why did he drop one gun to pick up another though?
