Johnson has an ad today in the Alexandria Times.
DP. I missed it. Thanks for posting. She has our vote!
There is a lot of discussion up thread on her. She represents everything wrong with ACPS.
Uh, the "discussion" is by a bunch of people slinging what they imagine to be zingers because she didn't kowtow to their good reat whiteness. PreeAnn understands kids and she understands schools. She leads by being out in front. She will not be bullied. She has the votes from all the voters in our household and we are proud to say that.

And you will be perpetuating ACPS’s failures by doing so.
No. One voter, treating ACPS and the school board like the joke they are, doesn't perpetuate the failures.
The fawning ACPS parents and PTAC "leadership" are the ones that are perpetuating ACPS's failures.
They actively deny that there are problems and work to shut down people who speak out. I've watched it many times over many years and they are brutal, delight in their vicious behavior and enjoy their misguided sense of righteousness that comes along with it.
They are the ones who won't ask tough questions of any of the new school board candidates or the incumbents. They'd rather pretend it's a good school system rather than demanding that it actually be a good school system.
I'm not the PP but if you want to place blame it shouldn't be with people like the above poster.

“For those saying CRT is not being taught in Alexandria schools, this new report from an organization that tracks indoctrination in schools finds otherwise. ACPS *is* training teachers to integrate CRT into the classroom and is even encouraging staff to use resources such as White Teachers Need Anti-Racist Therapy."
Where did she post that? Definitely not reading the crowd 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️😂
What group?? 👀
This FB group that started out as citizens concerned about the narrowing of Seminary Road but eventually morphed into a sort of right wing conspiracy theory page. It’s fascinating and terrifying at the same time. The page blames every traffic jam and flood in Alexandria City on Justin Wilson personally and gripes about every little inconvenience. Also lots of racist dog whistling. Many of us just watch in horror from a safe distance. But it’s eye-opening to see how many neighbors in our community think.
Ugh I bet my old boss is on there.
She isn't but Mollie Hemingway is! Cringe.
