He's far from perfect -- he is a genius though!
Nothing he's done is egregious, there's plenty of people who've done worse.

I never fell for his phony "do what I say on climate, etc etc". He doesn't have his own family life together and he's trying to tell other people what to do. Typical.

Yes, amazing that he is not perfect. Aren't all rich people supposed to be?
I'm in the IT business and I know people how worked with Bill years ago when he was still running the show at Microsoft. He's a brilliant guy -- grasps concepts immediately, and will deep dive into all manner of topics that interest him. He's also got the personality similar to some truly genius people I"ve worked with -- a bit rough around the edges socially, but not the predator type at all -- too timid for that. Even this latest NYT article is not really a bombshell. He's not forcing himself on anyone or anytying like that. He asked out two women, one over email, and never laid a hand on them. Inappropriate given his position of power, and slightly socially awkward, but not some rabid predator.
This makes sense.
Plus it must be very hard to stay grounded when that rich and famous.
Is Warren Buffet the only zillionaire who kept his act together with his family to the end?
Oh no. There is a bunch of stuff on Buffet and his wife and girlfriend. He basically has a second wife but didn’t divorce the first.
Gates may have visited Epstein, the person said, because Gates “enjoys talking and ideas and basically arguing with people, and he can be a really brutal person to argue with.”
“He likes nothing better than to get together and debate or lecture people, or tell everyone what he’s doing with the polio vaccine. He has an ability, unlike any other person I’ve ever met, to lecture to a table of people without stopping for an hour.
