literally, you are posting anonymously on an internet message board, calling a youth sports club dog shit and bragging that it will "lose several players," (a) as if that's not par for the course in youth soccer, and (b) as if it matters.

life is short, man. find a healthier way to deal with whatever is eating at you. i don't mean to be flippant here. consider talking to someone.

it's kids playing soccer. it's really not that important.

It’s good on these players. Think most of them came up through VDA.

Are they on full scholarship or is it coming out of mommy and daddy's checkbook? 90% of mens college soccer is an extended version of pay to play. Not as impressive as a basketball player who gets 100% athletic scholarship. #food4thought

You do all realize this is the some loser that started this thread and personally keeps it going, right? His name is Bobby P. ... and he’s built like a little school girl, which is why he coaches them, cuz he can relate.

This statement is completely clueless about how athletic scholarships work. Most, maybe all, Power 5 school scholarships are fully funded in football and basketball. That's not to say every player on those rosters has a scholarship, but teams have 85 scholarships to work with in football, and 13 in basketball.

Full scholarships are extremely rare in the non-revenue sports. In soccer specifically, the maximum is 9.9 scholarships in total for 25-30 roster spots.

The suggestion that a less than full scholarship for a top-tier soccer player is less impressive than a full scholarship for a basketball player at the end of the bench, who rarely plays, is foolish.

Getting an invitation to play for Virginia Tech, regardless of scholarship is impressive. Congratulations to these players!
