+1. The JWMS Soccer Teams (boys and girls) would really appreciate playing and practicing on this field during the Spring Season. MCPS and Rockville made a great decision of allowing the installation of turf fields at this school. My DD and the neighborhood kids are all really excited to play soccer this upcoming JWMS spring season on their new turf field.

Totally agree. I was disappointed when I heard that they were not constructing a bathroom next the field. But allowing usage of the JWMS bathrooms is great and it’s temperature controlled.

Yeah. We had many games and practices here before and parking was never a problem. But now it will be even better with additional parking.

One additional benefit of turf fields is less gnats and mosquitoes too.

So glad this is finally settled! Unbelievable that it took so long! Ha! And yes shout out to the Parent Coalition for getting us bathrooms! When MSI had 1st grade games there at least 100 kids were playing there at a time.....traffic always worked out. That was always a terrible argument.....the bathrooms though that is a great addition!

I suspect that MSI won’t really start using this field until January for the MSI Academy Teams winter practices. It’s too late to schedule games/practices here this season. I guess it’s better late than never.

They are not playing there this weekend because they already had to reschedule the whole fall season and they're not rescheduling this weekend's games a SECOND time less than a week before the game. We dealt with weekly schedule changes at the beginning of the season as they rescheduled each week individually, hoping that the later weeks would be able to be played at JW. After about 3 weeks of that they just rescheduled the whole season. I don't know if they'll use it for the make-up games next week. Since those have to be separately scheduled anyway that may be possible. My kid's team had a bye last week so we don't have a game to make up so I don't know what they've done with those.

Because I don't want them to move our games AGAIN. Our families had have enough changes this season thank you!
