And ignoring that the Thai team has said the US team was fine.
But see, none of that plays. People have to tear women down, especially successful women.

They didnt play dirty
They didnt taunt
They didnt disrespect the referees
They didnt disrespect the other team
They celebrated their accomplishments and your mad.
That tells me all I need to know about you.
Not many here are "mad." We support our national team. I know I do. But I don't support the level of celebration after going up over eight goals as though each goal had just won the world cup.
No class. Not angry. Maybe a little disappointed. But a fact, nonetheless.
Hopefully doesn't come back to haunt us.
How TF will celebrating come back to haunt us? You dont think France doesnt want to kick our face in? You dont think the French people wont go nuts if they beat us? Get real. This is how cowards talk.
We talk the talk. We walk the walk. We've been waiting for 4 years. Its go time
Karma's a bitch. Guess you haven't learned that lesson yet in life.
You will.
And there it is. Your anti-American.

You do you.
Celebrating goals isn’t unreasonable to me. It’s not like they were taunting the other team.

Anonymous wrote:It was Rapinoe’s only goal of the game. Why shouldn’t she celebrate? And why should anyone determine what constitutes an acceptable celebration? Aubameyang pulls masks out of his crotch.

Should there be rules for excessive celebration? Because that worked sooo well in the NFL. Yawn.
Hasn't it though? I feel like there's much less celebrating in the NFL than there used to be.
What? The rule was pretty much chucked in the bin. Entire teams are pretty much doing coordinated flash mob celebrations now...

The culture of high level, competitive soccer is to celebrate goals. I'm surprised you have a child who plays soccer and you're not aware of this. Have you never watched a match? It's as much a part of the culture as faking injury is.
Really - over the top celebrations of blowout goals is part of soccer culture? Not that I have seen - certainly not on my son's team. Our parents and coach would not tolerate our kids behaving that way. Megan Rapinoe's and a few of Alex Morgan's goal celebrations were ridiculous for almost any goal let alone for late goals that put a team up 9-0 or more. They need to grow up - their behavior is embarrassing. These are World Cup and Gold Medal winners - act like you have been there before. Or keep playing the sexism card.
Keep apologizing for them if you want. I am looking for a new team to root for in the tournament.
