I don’t think anyone disagrees with this. Cutting loose the players who aren’t at that level yet and being more selective with new players is a big part of doing the above, so it’s encouraging to see that both programs aren’t just talking about making the hard choices.

The same is true of Metro United. In addition to some who choose to go elsewhere, many players won't be returning for lack of invite.

Yes. One was an established entity without Spirit support, as a collaboration amongst several top MD clubs,, the other is essentially part of what's left of Spirit VA. That's been covered a zillion times here.

St James xFCV wasn't even a thing 15 years ago, so what's your point? That a new club can't stand itself up and thrive? That's obviously not true, is it.

Probably good for them. However, considering they are merging with Pipeline, they probably are infusing the team with some of the Pipeline talent. Should be better for them and better the for the Atlantic DA.

What’s happening at Baltimore Armour? They are a real club so I’m sure it is well run? MU is a startup so I imagine you can’t compare the 2.

It will take some time to get everything sorted out regarding next year’s rosters. Parents can and should be cautious with the process and not say “yes” to any club without the appropriate due diligence.

Nothing confusing. No offer was sent out yet to this parent and MUs is finishing up the selections. Sounds like a typical process.

Yea they are really carefully selecting this time around, also cutting the roster down to only 17-18 players from what I was told. Patience is a virtue.

Cant move forward until the 1st round draft picks either accept or decline. Parents are being cautious and dont want to accept until they know who else received an offer. Plus, there are probabley mutiple club offers on the table.

He runs the pro team. Never had anything to do with the youth other than it being part of the spirit umbrella.
