Madlax kids, yes even DMV kids, get to play at the college level. I think the owner is a pure douche, but his Madlax brand name is recognized all over.

That is 100% true. Two of the kids in 2024 that I know personally are awful players. Didn't even make the rec A team.

You mean the 2024 Capital team that is undefeated since the Fall? Also way to bash a couple of 7th graders, takes big man/woman to bash kids you "know personally". Here is a novel thought, if your kid is not getting playing time on a large roster than switch clubs, last time I checked none of the kids were under contract.

Thank you for proving my point.

What is your point? That parents don't have free will? That parents are too stupid to understand that on a large roster team if their kid is not in the top 18ish they likely will not get a ton of playing time? That most clubs are for profit or need fees to exist? That the primary goal of a club is to win games at the highest level possible? I keep seeing all these threads and comments about scams, etc. They are not scams, the information is all out there for a parent to make an informed decision. This is really not that hard with a little bit of diligence and a little bit of reality as it relates to your DD/DS ability.
Yes parents are oftentimes "too stupid" because they are misled - that Madlax will develop their kid w/ their awesome coaches but aren't told 1) our coaches are paid to win, we really don't develop every player despite that's what we are marketeering 2) we carry a bloated roster too big to get every player enough gametime- feed the eagles, starve the turkeys - more income for us 3 If you're on the DMV team, you are really SOL because without notice we will bring in ringers from Capital team to take major share of game time. Not PP, it's a shame to see kids that have been w/ Madlax for multiple seasons that don't have stick skills or game IQ - what the heck is Madlax doing but taking people's money?

PP goes on every thread to complain about DC Express and how much they charge. I think his rhetoric got spun into NL.

Is the $50 they actually charge for tryouts more palatable? https://nextlevelspartans.com/team/boys-travel-team-tryouts-2019-20-season/
Or the $175 for the tryout camp? https://nextlevelspartans.com/camp/boys-wes-elite-camp/

You can complain about it but at least complain with accurate information.

Simple solution, don't try out for that team. Problem solved.

How much should they charge for a camp or tryout? $0 or name the amount.

$0 for tryout. Camp is a whole different issue.
