Well, except that they’re allowed to vote…
And they have access to guns and public facilities and my tax dollars.

This right here.

Their grammar is awful. I know I am not perfect myself but that's why I plan on sending my children to public or private school. Why do they homeschool? It seems so backwards. In my home country home schooling is not legal. We would see it as backwards.
Your home country is probably a backwards country and that's why you're here. You may try to learn and adapt in a less judgemental manner.

Germany, for example, doesn’t allow homeschooling. It’s not a backward country at all. In fact, I remember a case where a German family sought asylum in the US, in order to be able to homeschool their children. They actually got asylum. Hilarious!
Germany produces far fewer notable public intellectuals and artists than France and the UK, which have similar population sizes and do allow homeschooling.

Anonymous wrote:Why aren't home-educated children held to the same minimum standards as public school students? I'm European and it's illegal in almost all European countries. This is absurd.
