Just give Nicole Kidman her Emmy now.
The therapy scenes are like a masters class in acting and could be an educational video for therapist training. So powerful.
Kidman is amazing.
(Hoping Celeste RUNS).
I agree. If anyone wonders what a good therapist is like, this is it.

Psychiatrist here. The therapist scenes are textbook perfect of an abusive relationship. Kidman is spot on.

It does seem to be going that way. So I'm thinking maybe it's too obvious.
Yeah, I hope that's not where this goes. That is so pat and obvious.
The only kid potential "suspects" we know in the HBO series so far are Chloe (doubtful), Ziggy, the twins, Amabella (doubtful) and Nathan/Bonnie's daughter (doubtful). I don't think they'd have her parents or another adult hurting her. So unless the last two episodes introduce a new character or blame the injuries on someone or thing we haven't seen yet, that only leaves Ziggy and the twins as probable culprits.
I don't see anyone other than Ziggy or the twins (and a pp makes the case that it's Amabella herself).
As for the murder, it seems every adult is a possibility as the victim or suspect.

No. LD is about 15 years older than KD.Plus they have very different facial features, their faces are entirely different shapes, etc. The only thing they really have in common is that they are both blonde actresses.

Didn't the police say there was choking. That makes me think a woman was killed. Or they are talking about a separate incident with Celeste.

Anonymous wrote:does anyone think the twin boys are bullying Anabel? They are acting out the violence in their parents relationship.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Jane "believes" Ziggy when he says he didn't hurt Amabella. But Jane also knows the circumstances of Ziggy's conception and is aware that it's not impossible that Ziggy picked up some abusive genes from his father. So that's a conflict for Jane and probably why she feels a need to seek out Saxon Banks.
"Abusive genes"? WTF are you talking about?
Anonymous wrote:So, without giving anything away, do we think ending will be different from book? I'm thinking so because it would be a little difficult to explain it all in one last episode.
Anonymous wrote:I'm the PP who believes Amabella is hurting herself, including with the "bite" mark on her shoulder. Either she somehow did it herself, or she used a stapler remover or similar tool to make it look like a bite. There is something so vacant and strange about her.
While I'm pretty sure Perry is Ziggy's father/Jane's rapist, it seems like that's what we're all supposed to believe. So maybe there will be some sort of twist?
Also, did they ever say why Jane moved to Monterey in the first place? Why would a single mother with very little income move to a fabulously wealthy area? And has she met any of the other women's husbands yet?
