Any man who thinks he can adequately be a husband to 4 women has an extremely high opinion of himself. I think the cracks in each of the marriages have started to show in how he is acting and in his self esteem. He is realizing that he isn't "the man" but the aging guy with three failed marriages behind him. It would actually be quite sad if he wasn't such a turd.
Feel sorry for the children that they have such stupid parents.

I honestly think in the last like, 5 years, he has slowly realized that like, the foundation upon which he has built his entire life is flawed. Everyone has always framed the criticisms like, 'oh why on earth do these women not leave this guy???????' But I think for the last few years Kody has wanted to leave THEM. And he knows this deep down and can't reconcile it. It is why he has been trotting out that 'it's a double standard they can leave and I can't' line left and right for the last few years. He wants to leave! And like many people, including some of his own wives, trapped in a relationship they don't want to be trapped in, he is turning into a mean angry shell of who he used to be. I think it has been hard for Kody to see not a single one of his children choose this, and perhaps, deep down, realize that he thinks they are making the right choice. I think he's just very bitter that he has become trapped with all of these people he doesn't really like.

I also think he has learned a bit from his life. I think he and Meri really did love each other once upon a time, long before the cameras were on them. And Kody understands much more than his younger self did, that her jealousy of Janelle and Christine is what killed their relationship. He knows that is what changed them. I don't think he ever LOVED Janelle and Christine, but I think he has found that love again with Robyn. And I think whether he wants to admit it out loud or not, he is afraid of losing that, and so he is choosing to distance himself from the other wives so Robyn does not stop loving him the way Meri did. Maybe even not even consciously, but I think this is a big part of the dynamic. The dissolution of Meri and Kody was FAR more painful to watch, you could see it in both of them then Christine and Kody, where the grief has been much more one sided (Christine). I think he's read the room wrong though, Meri never wanted to be a sister wife, so becoming one made her miserable. Robyn has always wanted to be a sister wife, so taking that away from her might end up with her resenting and not loving Kody.

It's pretty sad when your livelihood requires that you double down on the crazy so people will watch your TV show. Kind of like the Kardashians, the Gosselins, the Chrisleys, etc.

I have always doubted that this plural marriage was happy. Now we see the cracks and what looks like a triple gray divorce... leaving Kody with a younger wife. It's like he's throwing the three old wives out now that he's done with them. What a sh*t show.

They make a good case against legal plural marriage.

I’ve always thought he was someone who already had a underlying mental health issue who was unraveling and he was taking all these women and all these kids down along with him. He’s at the very least a sleazy narcissist.

Ugh, this show. Why, why, why do I watch? Covid Kody has been interesting to watch this season. His mental health seems to be deteriorating in front of our eyes. I don’t know if it’s his age, the pandemic, all the relocations or the kids growing up. I am also having an issue with the lag time of the show. I clearly need a life 😀

If she was so upset with him being there 24/7 why institute extremely restrictive Covid rules which essentially barred him from visiting the other households? On top of the irony of her household being the only Covid exposure after all that.

I think it was a number of things. They never really meant to be permanent in Las Vegas. Some of their kids almost went to the concert in 2017 where so many people were shot and killed and they were already uncomfortable with aspects of sin in LV. They built their homes with the intention of moving-so they did not have one big house. I read in one article that they had a balloon payment looming on the houses.


Robyn’s son (the one with autism) was enrolling in college there.

I highly doubt Kody is intimate with Janelle. We know he’s not with Meri or Christine. Kody only wants Robin. It was clear from the get go why he brought Robin into the family. He wanted a younger wife and wasn’t in love with his other wives already. He wanted more children and his other wives had already said enough (6 kids each except for poor barren Meri). Kody denied Meri another child through IVF and even discouraged it. Then he gets Robin pregnant quickly. What a slap in the face.

Someone posted an article a few pages back saying that Kody/Janelle haven’t been together in years. It implied that they only had sex to get pregnant each time.


I think this was also the case with Christine from the beginning. He admitted that she repulsed him when they were courting.
