She knew she was lying because of the -pause....weird ducky pursed lips.....eyes to the right...head rattle...."i don't remember saying that" when confronted by Kyle. As Erika said "those are big words". You would know whether you said it or not.
So either she is forgetting important stuff (cognitive changes- ?dementia) or she has a cluster b personality disorder for this level of manipulation.

Look, I'm sure the dogs are being mistreated and that's terrible and great that someone is speaking up for them. But I can't help thinking, you have this huge platform and there are HUMANS suffering all over the world. Hey LVP, there are probably people suffering within 20 miles of your house! And your passion issue is dogs.
First off, I'm sure Lisa and Ken do donate to "human" causes; we've seen them do so on the show, we've seen them volunteer, etc. So it doesn't have to be all or nothing.
That being said, humans are not more important than animals; we humans believe that human life is the most important life, but that's not objectively so. Humans have more agency and can advocate for themselves; animals cannot. Animals cannot organize and stop animal cruelty. So it's important for humans to work to protect animals, especially from other humans!
Finally, it's Lisa and Ken's money/time/energy, and they can do with it what they like.
Lots of humans can't effectively advocate for themselves for all sorts of reasons (structural, political, economic, religious). I'm not saying it's not important to stick up for animals, however clearly they chose one thing to highlight at this level on this show in front of a huge national audience (in fact, I read it was a condition LVP gave to return to the show...this dog business had to be featured) and I don't agree with their choice. That's it.
NP. You can't be all things to all people. I hope you in your life you advocate with your voice, time, and money vehemently for these people you speak about.
The next time I'm the star of a TV show with millions of people watching and filthy fucking rich, I'll be sure to do so.

Just caught up on the last few episodes last night. She is a crazy woman with a really bad lying problem and is the queen of deflection. She knew she said those things and had to use the "selective amnesia" card to until she could figure out a way to spin it so it wouldn't sound as bad.
She finally decided she could use the sympathy card with loss of her family member to explain her way out of those horrible things she said. How any of these women can stand by her baffles me, especially Eileen.
I loved how Erika just sat back and occasionally rolled her eyes during all that spinning, that was my reaction too. So many hot messes gathered around that table of cheesecake.

Yet another NP. But what do you do, now, with what resources of money, time, talent, energy, etc., that you have? You think there is "no excuse" for Lisa not to help people (though, clearly, she DOES contribute time and money to many charities, not just animal causes), but you are sitting here making excuses for why YOU don't help people in need.
You get an excuse, but she doesn't? (And she DOES help people.)
Why are you putting "no excuse" in quotes? I never said that. Read what I said. Dogs are great. Lovely to help dogs. If I had that platform and her money, I wouldn't choose dogs as my top priority. I can help people all day long (and maybe I do or don't, why is that point?), but I don't have her platform or her resources so it's apples and oranges.
NP. First off, LVP adopted a child. How is THAT not helping people, hmm?
Second, she is a huge LGBTQ supporter.
From her blog this week:
"But it is OUR priority, many of you know speaking on behalf of the LGBTQ community, as an advocate for equal rights, supporting Trevor Project, children with alopecia, the homeless ...the list goes on...we can only do so much. But if we can create a better world for man's best friend, by utilizing the platforms afforded to us, then that is what we shall do."
And there you have it.

FFS, no one here is saying animal lives are the only lives that matter. What we ARE saying is that you can help people and can ALSO help animals, and guess what? LVP does just that. She donates money and her time/fame to human charities. It's that simple. She DOES.
In the time it takes you to write another post on this, you can be online donating even $25 to a worthy cause, or posting to FB to raise awareness. Let's see what you will do.
