It doesn’t just “not flow.” It makes no sense whatsoever for her background. I cheated on my husband, he found out, but it’s HIS fault. He made me do it. I’m not a real adult, just a stunted 15-year old with a massive need for attention whether it is positive or negative. I send my children away for the entire summer and justify if while I live in Palm Springs with equally narcissistic, new old ass husband.

Maybe she is mining personal conversations (as a PP suggested) for content as "client testimonials."

Anna, if you are reading here, maybe try this. Drop the "divorce" moniker from your title. Create another term that resonates more positively. Come up with a free workbook that potential clients can use to start to think about next steps after divorce. NOT from AI. And stop with the stilted, scripted stuff. Not your best look and it doesn't flow.

You are being generous by actually assuming her “business” is salvagable.

Ok I agree! But who is continuously posting about them being like “my client” and fake screen shots and testimonials without having some sort of internal crises? Like I actually feel really bad for her

I don't think Anna has ANY clients. Beyond a "free consultation," I don't think she ever WILL have clients. She's so off-putting and her voice is so harsh.

It seems like these “clients” are a lot of her experiences repackaged and run through chat gpt.

I found this post particularly funny as she has routinely referred to other people making her the villain in a public way. Someone said earlier her entire page is just a giant look at me and justification for her life choices. If someone is a client of hers please chime in because I’m having a hard time understanding where the value is.

Kristen is a very privileged white woman who adopted 2 black sons. She tried to be a leader in the transracial families adoption world, but got kicked out of a prominent FB transracial adoption group for violating the rules. She posted, deleted, and pretended she didn’t. This was all around advice she asked about sharing her adopted kids’ stories in her upcoming book! (Post divorce) People said no! She got expelled from the group permanently.

She also decried the "racism" her sons dealt with- again, no. They were hugely popular and well-liked.

You've told this story and complained about this multiple times in this thread and honestly it's weird. Just because a black kid is popuular doesn't mean they don't experience racism. I live in Long Beach and have never understood Kristen's decision to raise her black kids in the middle of OC. It's widely known for being racist. I have no doubt every mommy blogger embelishes some of their kids' stories but her kids dealing with racist bs in Orange Count I totally believe. Your comments are giving "a black kid was homecoming king so racism is over". As for her complaining about the magnet school not reaching out to immigrant families, it wasn't hard to figure out what school you're talking about and she's not wrong. A simple google search shows the demographics are 30% Hispanic while the surrounding schools are closer to 80% which again is not surprising for a competitive school in OC to somehow avoid the " immigrants, legal and illegal" as you put it. Yikes.

Scarlett seems very unhappy. Who else talks about the government in a Mother's Day post?

I am a parent whose kids went to elementary school with the Howertons, when the blog was going full throttle. The kids are really great kids, and the school was one of the most ethnically diverse in the district, but Kristen would find a way to belittle it, which drove me bonkers. It was a "lottery" school, a magnet not based on academics, but on a strict district-wide lottery. Everyone wanted in, and the wait list was over 100 students for each grade. Even teachers who worked at the school did not have guaranteed spots for their children. Kristen thought that the teachers and staff talked about her and her blog. She posted some faux-sob story about how supposedly disadvantaged members of the community (newly-arrived immigrants, legal and illegal, from Mexico and Central America) were somehow unaware of the lottery and didn't know how to apply (news flash- they know plenty and aren't nearly as ignorant as she implied) Just post after post of untruths. She also decried the "racism" her sons dealt with- again, no. They were hugely popular and well-liked. Her older son was a little absent minded, like most teens, and got jumped after school by a Hispanic kid for his phone and air pods. But does she talk about her son's inattention? No, it's almost a hate crime.
You saw Mark on campus all the time, and Kristen would attend performances and events but was very standoffish. They bought a house in the most expensive part of our town and then their marriage imploded. She was radio-silent for months and months about their relationship. It was such a strange thing to watch unfold in real time, and see what fluff she would drum up on the blog.
