It’s true what a PP said, that there are often multiple calls every minute. Why, if everyone hates the resource, do they keep utilizing it? What do you do when you have the need for a police officer, and what is your alternative solution?
It's not 1950. Try calling 911 today and it's unlikely they'll even bother responding. "File a report online." Or if they do show up, they aren't there to pursue a crime, they're just going to write a report and then get back on their phone scrolling social media. They are grossly overpaid stenographers.
Meanwhile, their bootlickers will rationalize them doing nothing all day with, "They're pursuing important stuff and solving big crimes!"
No, they're not. They're literally sitting on their asses.
Every word before and after the word “bootlicker” gets nullified. Seek help.

No, fleeing suspects need to be stopped.
My mom had a neighbor who was shot by the police running home during the Detroit riots. He was 14 years old was just walking to the store, got scared started running. He heard someone yelling at him and had no idea it was the police. He lived but with permanent damage.
That's tragic. And that was something like 55 years ago. Times have changed! My uncle was a Detroit cop during that time and if you mouthed off to a cop or ran from the cops you are definitely going to get an ass kicking. If you mess with a dog too much, you deserve to get bit.
Except kids have been shot playing at parks, people have been shot sleeping in bed. It hasn't changed, or if it has changed it's not nearly enough.

I'd like to see if you have the guts to ask this question to vulnerable populations who maybe experience more targeted harassment at the hands of law enforcement.
Come back and tell us how it went.
