Except they didn't defy his orders. And the ruling itself was thrown out by the Supreme Court.

The plan in Project 2025 to fire or drive out the career federal employees and replace them with loyalists and sycophants didn't take into account the long long timetable for federal hiring, at the best of times (USAjobs is half wrecked now). And currently the few advertised public jobs, that typically receive thousands of applications and hundreds of highly qualified applicants, are receiving zero. Zero applications.

Article I thinks that, with the blessing of the Supreme Court, they've got the Article I takeover in the bag. Instead they've just busted the federal government and are already finding out that now they're struggling to find anyone to implement their plans.

They'd like for that to be how it happened. But unfortunately it didn't.

This is all public, now that the whistleblower complaint has been publicized. It's all plain to see.
