Private + legacy and $$$

And in the case of one of those kids, a multi-generational legacy and grandson of a VP.

Which VP?

I have mixed feelings on this post, feels icky to compile, but I understand it’s public information. This has made me extra proud of my unhooked public school kid though. I knew it was low odds, but somehow seeing this make it feel ever more so.

Disagree. These are public accounts. For the most part these are 18 year olds (or close to it) - as in legal adults. And they've posted voluntarily.

It is super icky to compile this. People can find it on their own, but putting a list together of HS kids feels really, really wrong. I wish it would be taken down.

These are voluntary…some kids submit their pics and info. Others don’t.

Feel sorry for the sad, insecure NYC private school moms who go trolling around other cities looking for conflict & validation. Hope their kids have better luck making human connections and adult friendships.

I mean it’s admittedly impressive that they can get so many people into top colleges.

NYC metro area has 10x more millionaires than DC & those families are all competing for spots at a few decent prep schools. Extreme wealth produces more snobs and more Ivy League acceptances. DC certainly has its share of snobs too, but haven't checked NYUM to see if desperate DC parents are posting over there.
