So, yes, POTUS can order them to do anything, including using Seal Team 6 to assassinate political opponents. Because the opinion also says that one cannot inquire into motives when dividing official acts from unofficial acts.

A burglary got impeached; a sexual affair got impeached; a phone call got impeached but somehow Biden assassinating Trump with Seal Team 6 goes ahead untouched. This isn't Game of Thrones. The 3 justices are so out of touch as to be incompetent.

The idea of "seal team 6" was presented as a hypothetical during oral arguments and the court has just granted the president immunity for such actions. This is what the GOP wanted.

The hyothetical seal team 6 scenario is so far outside the realm of any possibility it rendered the rest of her statements muted.

Yeah what's with the lefts fear? They are so extreme.

They don’t believe any of it. All manufactured hysteria.

Sotomayor with her dopey king statements are why dems are slipping away. Term limits, impeachment power, congress, war power acts; the list goes on and on with checks on presidential power.

He got some time, yes. But the Supremes just said that some of Jack Smith's claims do not have absolute presidential immunity.

Trump lost.

This is easily a Trump victory. At the very least it buys more time for the judicial process to work. By then he is president and can instruct the AG to drop charges or even pardon himself.

It certainly does not. Jack Smith is unstoppable.

He is certainly on a roll isn’t he. lol.

What type of argument is this? Didn’t we fight a war with Britain to get away from a king?

Didn’t Obama kill multiple US citizens without trial?

Yup.

Biden isn’t getting reelected lol.

Well he is immune now isn’t he? and can do whatever he wants.

You tried to suggest the court would toss out a Biden win. It’s laughable because Biden isn’t winning.

And he's immune up until January 21st. So he could lose the election and call out Seal Team 6 on January 19. Why not? He's got immunity.
