This thread has made a lot of progress since the restart. We seem to have moved beyond the personal attacks of identifiable individuals, and generally folks are avoiding commenting on individual players. Those are wins.
Would prefer that we not replace that type of clearly unproductive dialogue with some new moralizing strain where anonymous folks drop in comments like "you are all psycho", or "'28 parents are the worst", and so forth. If it doesn't advance the discussion, and sounds like name calling, it's probably not worth writing.
What do you think about making fun of people who write things like “replace that type of clearly unproductive dialogue with some new moralizing strain” on an anonymous blog?
In my day, we referred to people who spoke like that as “snobs.”
