Also I've read the kids all do have trusts. They probably just don't have access to all the money the minute they turn 18 but will age into it.

He got the money for the car from the job he was heading to when he got in the accident. He seems to have his shit together. Has a solid plan for post high school…enlist in the military and then attend college to pursue a degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.

If you’ve read his social media post about his graduation, he plans to go to college too.


Sure he does. Most parents here would consider this a failure if their kids wasn't college bound after HS graduation.


I hope Kate does see that she failed him.


Her two older daughters just graduated from college. Not clear on what the other sextuplets are doing. But the older two seem to be doing well, all under her care.

I’d also argue that most parents here wouldn’t institutionalize their kid for 3 years and rarely visit them. So I think it’s ok for this to be an outlier.

Even if it’s easiest to get into, there’s no chance they’d take the risk with a high profile recruit if he truly does have severe mental health problems. If he had started the process already, I’m sure his recruiter got a few calls about him the past few days. If not, they’ll be on the lookout for when he does.

And even if he doesn’t join the military, Kate has just made his life infinitely harder by sharing his medical history with the internet. Super classy move by a nurse.
