In that situation I’d check the backpack before even notifying admin. If I’m really worried about a kid I probably wouldn’t call in more adults to escalate and set them on edge

Astonishing how many of you are willing to risk your basic safety just to accommodate corrupted higher-ups. You should be revolting en mass when they refuse to remove perpetrators who are repeatedly violent and threaten bodily harm to school staff or students
