That's great to hear they have some kids who have committed to D1 programs but do they have any depth?

Shook his hand after the game and told him I was an SJC lacrosse alum...he looked stunned and asked why I was coaching where I was. I said, well, its where I live my friend.

That’s awesome. Hope you’re still coaching. Sounds like you got it.

Gib resigned...yes...and the incident at "Caddies" kind of helped. I was not sure who to root for on this one as he and Phillips both are annoying people.

This is all anecdotal, maybe SJC just identified those players as higher priority than the other schools. I know of players at Gonzaga, multiple at Georgetown Prep, and Landon that all chose those schools over SJC at least in part because of better financial packages being awarded to them at those schools.

Giblin resigned. GP immediately accepted.

Crazy Prep can’t win with all those boys and a pipeline from Mater Dei. Should have never gotten rid of Giblin. Winner.

The only issue SJC may encounter is over-recruiting and players/families becoming upset due to lack of playing time.

How could you have any idea of what they give unless you happen to be in admissions and financial aid at SJC as well as all the other schools.

I know of two families at SJC who looked at a few rival schools, including where our son is currently at.

When SJC offers scholarships that are $20K more in aid than what Georgetown Prep or Gonzaga might offer to the same family, it's hard to compete.

sounds like GP has some very entitled and delusional parents on their hands if they really try to oust the current head coach.

At most schools. Not the WCAC.

There are no lacrosse players at PVI getting money simply because they are good lacrosse players. That is a FACT (pun intended) and the coach has no pull with people who could impact this.

That doesn't really make much sense considering his younger brother is still at Prep and plays on the varsity lacrosse team also.
