Clemson is going to be at the top of the ACC battling UNC, BC in no time.
Not only is GA really developing some lax talent, who doesn't want to go south for school?
GA… As in Georgia? Clemson isn’t in Georgia. And lots of people don’t want to go South for school. Southern States and Southern schools (with a very few outstanding and well known exceptions) are some of the worst places in the country with much higher rates of poverty, illiteracy, misogyny, racism and about everything else wrong with this country. Plus with fast rising temperatures and sea levels many of those places will be all but uninhabitable in a few decades. I say that as a born and bred Southerner. Basically every other region of the US is a better choice for a young woman to go to college.
I knew I should have mentioned my point of Clemson being in SC and 90 min from Atlanta which is a developing hotbed of lax because somebody was going to state how Clemson isn’t in GA. You are missing the point.
Point is, it’s very appealing and as much as I love UMD, Clemson SC is much more appealing then College Park, MD which is a terrible college town.
Also the southern college experience is not the middle of nowhere southern small town experience so all your facts on poverty, illiteracy is pointless.

This is crap. There are a good number of schools in the South that are competitive with those in the north (not just Duke and Vandy). The climate is great. The college towns are generally significantly more open and welcoming than you suggest. But, keep spewing the prejudice while claiming to know the South.
