Also, Christine would have had to survive her wounds for a significant amount of time (Brendan waiting at McDonald's, the 13 minutes between 911 calls...) since she was not dead when help arrived.
Survive her wounds but also not be able to move around the house, or grab her phone, or anything. At the very least she’d have tried to leave the house and left a trail in the hall. I dont think the theory that he stabbed her before Joe got there is realistic

I read cases before that some men created fake accounts in names of women they wanted to humiliate. The men pretended to be the women and falsely claimed that the women wanted to play rough rape games and invited other men to come to the women’s homes. So when the men who were misled showed up in the women’s homes to play the “rape game”, they thought the women’s screaming, fighting and attempts to call police were just part of the game, as they were told in conversations prior to the game day.
So it’s possible that CB or JM had assumed CB’s identity and told JR that she’d react scared when he encountered her in her house to turn off his suspicion. And if somehow CB ended up calling police on JR before BB and JM showed up, it’d just be a mischief done by someone and BB and JM would not be in trouble. Police won’t devote too much resources to such a case as a murder case.
Here is my guess. If CB didn’t get to call police before BB and JM showed up, they’d just kill JR and CB as planned. There’s no way JM isn’t part of it. BB was clearly waiting for her call in the McDonald’s parking lot. I think BB asked JM to shoot JR a second time, which was not necessary to incapacitate JR, and even if it was, BB could just shoot JR a second round, because he wanted both of them to have blood on their hands so that JM couldn’t just change her mind and incriminate him easily.
I have a hard time understanding why BB would involve JM and his daughter in all the events at the house that morning. It seems to add an unnecessary layer of complication and risk. Why not just let them go to the zoo and have BB return home because he forgot his lunch, or work laptop? Maybe JM was part of the planning and that is why it took so long to get her to roll over on BB.
Everyone is confused about one thing. There is no evidence or news from any source that JM has rolled over. It's a fact that her trial is still on for the exact date planned, and that is proven by her lawyer making a motion to exclude evidence taken in by police when she volunteered to give an account right after the police showed up. The prosecution office has said they are going forward. If you do a plea deal you dont fight evidence admittance and the dates would totally change and not go forward without a change. In addition there was said by LE that new evidence made it possible to do the arrest on BB. There is no current reported flipping at all. There from what I read a big amount of forensics digital and physical that made this possible. DC area has some of the biggest and best forensic science in the world. That can literally take forever in back logged cases that utilize this facilities forensic labs and skilled scientists.
Attorney here. This poster is right. This hearing would have been canceled if she had flipped.

Can someone just explain what happened to catch me up?
What are you confused about? You said you just read an article, what could we possibly say to make you understand? Good Lord we’ve been talking here for almost 300 pages. And you want us to catch you up?
Yes, I read the article about evidence suppresion but the crime story made no sense. A woman got killed, her au pair saw it, there was a random guy from the internet, and her husband involved somehow,.
I don't want to read 300 pages, I just want the 411.

"I met the guy at a party years ago when we were both still living in NY. I'm not exaggerating when I say that everyone there thought there was something off about him, but nobody could pin it down. I guess now we know."
"I grew up with him and this is spot on. We grew up in manorville long island and went to a small school. He didn't have friends and was off and creepy. My friend managed a bank in her 20s and he started there as a teller and dueijg training stole a considerable sum of money. They were not able to prove it was him but fired him bc of the missing money. He's always been a weirdo."
"Wonder what it was that gave you that feeling? I've met him too and he does have this awkwardness around people. "

This was my thought as well. We'll see how this all plays out, the police officer reportedly told JM that “It’s imperative for your safety" with regard to going to the station. A reasonable person could conclude that she thought she had no choice in the matter.
But then what happens then?
I don’t agree. And I am sure they sincerely thought she was at risk. And under some coercion. Wouldn’t you? They didn’t know about the affair at that point. So I believe it when they say she wasn’t a suspect at this point.
