Why do you need college recruiting to force grade year for your soccer? How does that help you? College coaches said they don't care your age, it is a quote in two places, not manipulatived, but you say they lied?Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:This is a good example of why you get so much wrong.Anonymous wrote:It's so odd to me that someone would try to argue that college recruiting doesnt factor into youth soccer. Nobody said college recruiting doesn't factor into youth soccer. Find where someone said this or accept that you have an inability to understand written English.
People have said you have no idea how college recruiting works and even college coaches have disagreed with you.
You are twisting what FC Copa said. They are grouping Aug birthdays by grade based on feedback from college coaches. The specific statement youre manipulating is that coaches only care about when players are Juniors in school. This is because its when they can speak with players (NCAA rules).

Arlington had its first age-based scrimmages this weekend. Any thoughts after the scrimmages on what Arlington will be doing?
There was a comment a couple of days ago that Arlington was grouping players by grade in tryouts.

Such a pot-stirrer, you are.
Nobody is stirring the pot. Theres realities that crazy age guy wont accept. The big one is if you want to get recruited and play in college Aug birthdays will need to play with their grade. The almost as big one is that clubs dont wont 9th grade players on 8th grade teams. It screws up the team because 9th grade players will want to play HS soccer for 3 months during the season. The kind of big one is Aug birthday boys in SY leagues will need to play with their grade if they want to play in BY leagues like MLSN1. If you dont the jump will be too great.
On top of everything else its just easier for clubs to ask players at tryouts "what grade are you in" when determining which level to group players.
100% correct

The issue wasn't just settled, it never was an issue. Yet you keep cutting and pasting the same tired and misleading points to try to convince August kids to make an individual decision that you know nothing about.
How do you benefit from youth soccer going to grades. You are pleading well beyond what a rational person would do. You need this but the rules already exist by age only.
College coaches actually said you are wrong. August boys wanting to get to MLSN1 just have to be very good at soccer and then go to practices with MLSN1 teams, like now. HS won't be an issue because it will only be about one or none kids per team trapped missing about a bit over a month, kind of like missing for an injury. It's why their rosters are 20+.
Clubs are doing what they can to get as many kids as possible to play on age, meaning move Dec-Aug down. August misaligned kids isn't their problem at all, too small of an issue, it is your problem and has always only been your problem.
There is no one guy. You piss off everyone to the point of a new thread being started to avoid you and your fake August problem.
