Nothing changed with the weekend’s results in terms of Capital tryouts. Stars has a number of very strong players with a good chance at Cap Blue. And while Pride played well as a team, no new locks for Capital emerged. Most predictions by all rational parties have been pretty consistent: Pride and Stars will both have players make Capital Blue and, likely, at roughly a 2:1 ratio. Ones and twos from other clubs will provide the remainder.
A more controversial take, but one I happen to agree with, is that if Pride is a top 10 team on its own, the combined group at Capital will be pretty good.
And for the PP struggling with the word “schemes”, the reference is to offensive plays and defensive structures, not backroom dealings.
God you sound like a do$che.

Running schemes properly requires having lots of players who are going to execute consistently. Hero’s, Coppermine, Crush, and M&D, for example, are better than Pride because they have more players who can consistently execute, and Pride is better than Stars for the same reason. I think it is definitely true there is some great talent on Stars; it’s just not as deep as the other teams I mentioned.

If they want the team to be compete it will only have 4 from stars max.
Probably right. Some other clubs will surprise you with talent you do not know about. Pride will definitely have the lions share. This is not a controversial take at this point.
Yeah it is. Once you get kids out of schemes and see their individual skills the playing field will be leveled. Stars has some great talent that will shine in tryouts. Don’t be deterred.

In retrospect, it would have been a good idea to utilize some schemes with all that available talent. I guess the question is why did that not happen. Were the coaches and other leaders, who are some pretty influential people, actually incompetents? Or could the players just not process?
Now Pride Dad is calling Stars’ kids stupid.

1. Yellow Jackets LI Maget (2028)
2. Hero's Green (2028)
3. Eagle Stix Blue (2028)
4. Coppermine Black (2028)
5. Mass Elite Red (2028)
6. Crush MD (2028)
7. M&D Black (2028)
8. Pride Red NOVA (2028)
9. Prime Time (2028)
10. MD United East (2028)
No big shakeup is expected, though I have a few notable changes:
Hero's up 1 spot to #2
Eagle Stix down 1 spot to #3
Prime Time up 1 spot to #9
MDU up 1 spot to #10
Aces falls out of Top 10 to #11
I suspect Mass Elite will come back to earth as the summer progresses, but for now they will still be #5.
Are you DG?
