What good? The Democrats are in power. They can pass any law they want, codify RvW into law. Eliminate the filibuster! Hound Manchin and Sinema. Play hardball with them. Threaten them with withdrawing all funding from their states. At least show the effort. But no all we get is more speeches and empty rhetoric.

Last weeks ruling in the death penalty is the nail in the coffin. The Court is shredding our freedoms.

And besides a bunch of bluster what have the Ds done? Why the f can our so called leaders not turn the screws on the repubs in the party play acting as Dems (like Manchin or Sinema)???? Why do they let an anti-choice Cuellar even in the party? Why do they let party members parse their words about women’s health care? What is “personally opposed” except for a cop out for a closet misogynist? There should be no toleration for anyone to say such things.
Honestly, I agree. I’m usually the last to Sh*t on Dems, but if this isn’t a big enough issue then what is?
They are saying loud and clear what their priorities are and it’s not women’s rights. I feel like I have no one to speak for me.
I mean… fck off. The choice is clear: more Democrats and progress or Republicans and fascism. That’s it. If you want a more progressive Democratic Party, get involved and make one. If you want Democrats that throw punches - and I wish we had more of them - join up and become one. But don’t fart around with crap like “I feel like I have no one to speak for me.” It’s a bus ride, not pledging a sorority.
You F off. Progressives were told over and over what you’re saying and received nothing in return. No. I’m not going to reward folks for doing nothing because of threats you make. Once the folks in power start showing they are willing to fight and fight hard, then I’ll consider granting them my vote. They must earn it.
What have YOU done to change things?

Other Democrats are offering you breadsticks Republicans are offering you a s*** sandwich. Which do you want?? Yes I get you one pizza. Most of us want pizza but the fact is we're starting with breadsticks.
I’m eating the damn breadsticks. I am allowed to complain that they are not enough. Keep your head in the sand though. Nothing to see here, everything is fine.
Who said everything is fine?? I certainly never stated that or implied it. With the fact is that Democrats routinely pass over good candidates because they don't match up on 100% of what they want. She also Bernie versus Hillary. I get it. A lot of people did not like Hillary. I didn't love her. I liked her a hell of a lot more than I like to Trump and instead of throwing away my vote or not voting I voted for her. That's how Republicans get people in office and that's what Democrats need to start doing. I wish that we ranked choice voting but until we do We have to use the system to our advantage.

The misogyny is heavy on this one.
