Any Gulf states supporting US troops and bases will be targeted by the Iranians. Moving it all under is extremely expensive and will not solve the problem of aircraft and radar facilities getting hit. With current technology Bahrain and any US bases in range of Iran are un defendable. Bahrain signed the Abraham Accords and is a close ally of Israel. You and Bahrain can talk all it wants but no one is coming to protect it. Israel will not lift a finger and the US has already shown what it will do.
So stop with your nonsense and accept reality. The US is only in the regime to protect Israel. The US is leaving and Israel will be on its own.

It is primarily operated by the U.S. Air Force and has hosted an AN/TPY-2 early-warning missile radar station since 2017. The US Embassies in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv also have a permanent contingency of US Marines.

The US is only in the region to protect Israel. When the US leaves the region will be more stable because the US will no longer be imposing idiotic things like the Abraham accords and its constant attacks/oppression of Iran. The US has suppressed Iran for 50 years while propping up Israel and the gulf kingdoms. That is all over now.
The truth is the US has restricted the free market flow of oil in the region for years while wasting billions on defense spending. The US leaving will be great for the region and oil production.

Because Iran then would close the SOH leading to pandemonium. That economic and political pain would be much worse than working out an agreement. Leading up to the MOU Trump was desperate for a deal and was too weak to push back to Iran's demands that included reparations.

You are correct that Iran could threaten again. In that scenario, other countries with better ties to Iran (China, Russia?) could tell them to cool it.
The JCPOA had other countries on board (including China and Russia) to collectively restrain Iran.

I don’t think we should gain anything. We lost and it was stupid on Trump’s part to even pull us out of Obama’s deal let alone attack Iran, but I also don’t see why we would pay $300b if we just left.
You have to negotiate to leave.
US have military bases and business interests all around the Middle East.
You can’t just blow up things and experiment with your new weapon system for few months and say I am done and am going home.

Many of the bases have already been destroyed.
Bahrain was in the US last week discussing the rebuild. The US is considering moving some of the buildings and equipment underground. Also there was a report released last week to relocate some of the bases and missions to ME countries that Iran cannot reach, such as Israel.
