PP here - I agree. I left West Po off because their team was heavy with seniors, but obviously the returning players know how to win and none of the other six teams I mentioned are very deep, so West Po definitely belongs in the discussion.

Langley returns a lot on offense, Robinson returns a lot on defense and offense, anyone else who made a run bringing back a lot?
Yorktown is only losing three starters and has a couple of big time underclassmen. Langley loses their whole defense but has a great goalie that will pick up some of the slack there. Those two should be the early favorites.

This list is a whatever to me- who is doing the voting and how much lax did they really watch from the Publics? The WP is horrible about lax coverage in the area, DW had to sell his son hard to get him on there.
Funny how the 3 All Americans from US Lax didn't make the local all-met team?
Agreed..Just a guess but probably used VHSL list for public schools. WaPo doesn't care about high school lacrosse or even college lacrosse and it's a tough call as far as Kubie goes getting on that list. I feel if DW Sr. was involved at all in all met then no way he promotes Kubie or any player on the team over Jr. As a previous Indy parent I still follow the team and watch some games so here is some inside baseball. When you watch enough games certain offensive players on the team benefit immensely from someone else drawing double teams and #1/#2 defenders. I've seen a lot of garbage time stat building too where the team is up by 10-12 points halfway through the 3rd against a team that can't even clear the ball and yet certain offensive starters never come off the field while others are taken out. I can't help but think that is intentional as who that benefits is obvious.
As far as Indy moving to 6A I predict them breezing through district and probably regionals but unfortunately state QF and Semi will be tough. This 2025 team I would have put up against any of the 6A teams with even odds on winning but Indy did lose talented players in that 2025 class and a lot of intangibles. 4-5 starters were in that mix and three captains that have been through ups and downs with the team. Losing your FOGO, your best offensive player, best close defender, and SSDM will hurt for sure. Some key role players were in that 2025 class that enabled depth and Indy remained relatively healthy with a few exceptions. Indy won two nail bitters like 12-11 vs RS in a win or go home or a 9-8 regional final vs BW that if they lost would have put them on the road instead of Briar. They don't win either of those games without the 2025s. I like what I see from the 2026s and 2027s (goalie is really good) but now the offense is going to have to deal with the double teams and #1/#2 defenders like I mentioned above.
ahh, an Indy insider!! Thoughts on the below?
Ive been saying this for two years when I first saw them play- the 2025s at Indy are better then the 2026s. It's a matter of flash vs. substance, Ill take substance any day.
FWIW- I hear that they should have won the Briar game by more, it wasn't that close. Except a certain 26 tried to give the game away via questionable penalties? Not the 25s saving them, but the 26s hurting them? Can you confirm?
