Well that isn’t going to happen. Israel wants dominance in the region not safety and to be an equal player.

In the American political sphere, there’s 2 views of Israel among the elite: one is the public view that it’s our strongest ally and its our moral obligation to protect Israel as it’s in danger due to being the Jewish state in a hostile region, and the second view that it’s a frenemy to the US that needs to be dealt with caution as they are equally as dangerous as anyone else in the Middle East and that Israel is not a non hostile actor just looking for peace with its neighbors.

Israel wants dominance over the Middle East and the U.S. Peace is what they feel is the result of dominance

Well AIPAC donates money and votes. The "uncommitted" don't have much to offer given their demands are not going to be met by either political party.
