This is what a 12 year old girl who watches too much television thinks an ambassador looks like

I would love to be present, like a fly on the wall, at these two events:
1. Negotiation session where Kimmy threatened someone with the things she knows and got an ambassadorship in exchange.
And…
2. KG in her closet, deciding what to wear, thinking out loud about how this is an appropriate skirt length and the sparkles make it extra fun.

Ambassador Barbie

She is light years less embarrassing than she was 4-5 years ago. I’m so proud of Kim. I was half expecting her to show up in sheets harkening back to Ancient Greece. Baby steps! She’s stepping back from Evita!

Think about all the skiing she was doing with Don Jr. Maybe she’s healthier now that they aren’t together.

It pains me to say this but she looks really good. The dress is perfect. Hair looks glossy and great. Shoes are a little casual but whatevs.

I wouldn't go that far. The dress is perfect for the occasion and looks nice on her but her hair is so meh as always.

I am BEGGING any hairstylists reading this to reach out to the VP's office. Good lord.

Her hair looks great - shiny and healthy. What on earth are you talking about?

DP: isn’t it too much gray for a 39 year old?

I think I remember and Indian friend telling me that Indians go gray earlier, but my memory could be failing me

I think many women go gray early regardless of their ethnicities but they just color their hair and no one knows. She, however, choses not too. Could that be an Indian influence? (Indira Ghandi comes to mind)

Jesus no it’s not an Indian influence because one other Indian public figure who happens to be a woman did it.

I kind of can’t get over that PP thought Indira Gandhi might be a style icon for US born Indian women in 2025.

I kind of can’t get over that you actually thought that it was a serious statement. What makes this thread so good is the fact that many contributors write in tongue in cheek way. But apparently some people take it all quite literally.

(And if anyone is using Indira Gandhi as a hairstyle inspiration that would be Tulsi Gabbard. I bet you think I’m serious.)

Did you write it? Otherwise, I’m going to say you are giving that poster too much credit and you miss a lot of weird statements about minorities, particularly Indians, that get posted on DCUM.

#2 is SO Ambassador Barbie, goth edition!

#1 must be when that killer instinct comes out…

Except we know now, from the Barbie movie, that ambassador Barbie would at least be smart and having a wink at her image. This is just sad and embarrassing.

Ivanka has the body for it, but that first outfit is meant for someone younger.

She managed to somehow make her neck look even longer. I wonder why she thought her giraffe-like body would look good in that dress. She looks like a Kayan woman wannabe.

+100

The leg pose - I'm noticing this more recently, like even at the Met Gala. A weird thigh in front of thigh, slightly squeezed. Maybe supposed to make their legs look longer and thinner? That's how I look when I have to pee.

I usually dislike this word - but she looks trashy

I kind of feel embarrassed for her- it feels like she is just too old to be posting stuff like this? The outfits are goofy and too young for her, her husband looks goofy and cardboard-cutout as someone else said. Who is this for? Her “fans?”

Seems like her only way of staying relevant now that she isn't daddy's caretaker anymore. Not to say she doesn't look good, she does, but who cares about her anymore.

I agree. Time to really go into private life. Her relevance is over. (Remember when she was a designer and businesswoman briefly advocating for working women? So funny to think about now.)
