Which illiustrates the utter disregard he showed towards government documents and particularly classified documents.
The judge said she does not believe the government can classify documents. Therefore all the documents are not classified per the judge.![]()
Gee, wonder why the ABA would consider her "not qualified"?
Only the best people, right MAGA?
I'm not defending her, but this is simply not true:

I think it's also worth noting that she was confirmed on Nov. 12, 2020, 44 Republicans and 12 Democrats voted in favor, 23 of our vaunted Senators didn't even vote. Her appointment to the federal bench is a bi-partisan failure.
No it is a victory for conservatives and the federalist society. How many of these sleeper judges are there? What are their orders and how hi controls them? Why should the DOJ go along with this judge’s crazy rulings?

The 11th is totally “conservatives”. They will agree with whatever trumps puts out.
At this point in history, it's very possible. And possible the Supreme Court affirms. I don't think it's hugely likely, but it's possible. I realize all the talking heads will say it's not so, but to my knowledge, the extent of Presidential declassification authority, for classified materials that are not subject to another law or statute, has never been litigated, or even really discussed. There's certainly no statutory procedure, and there's an awful lot of Supreme Court justices that subscribe to the unitary executive theory of the presidency.
Did DOJ challenge Cannon's jurisdiction over the case? Because I would hope that's still ripe for appeal and the higher courts could use that as a get out of jail free card, so to speak.
Trump has not claimed in any court filing that he declassified any of these documents.
Then I don't understand why a special master would review the classified at all.
They just need to review them first to determine whether they are privileged. Will take like 5 minutes because duh, they are clearly federal records. This is so freaking stupid it’s criminal.
