Complain all you want but ties always are worth more than losses regardless of where you are. Next time? Don’t lose then you won’t have that issue.

Nothing was handed to them. The girls deserve the credit - end of story. Good luck to everyone in their next chapter of lacrosse.
Except for the plain fact that 3-1 was ranked higher than 2-0-2. Tourneymachine does not lie. Pride played well but Hero’s had their spot stolen. Plain and simple.
It appears genesis gave 5 pts for a win and 3 for a tie. Unusual scoring. Hopefully Genesis will follow soccer and give 3 pts for a w and 1 for a tie. That being said congratulations to Pride for winning their last tournament. A lot of prior teams mailed it in as they left for Capital.
They clearly did not score games that way just the week before. Look, any fair minded person can see Hero’s has a legitimate gripe. I don’t care to take a shot at Pride because it has nothing to do with them. The tournament officials got this wrong.
Or it got screwed up last week and they corrected it this week. Again, every division used the 5pts for win and 3 pts for tie this week.

Anonymous wrote:I have nothing against Pride and clearly they are a very good team; having said that, Hero’s got screwed. Big time.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Pride had an easy schedule. It was ridiculous. Not sure how they always pull low level teams.
They should not have been in the playoffs as they were 2-0-2. Heros was 3-1. But Pride complained long and loud enough and the playoff bracket was changed 2 hours later.
So now it’s the tournament’s fault? You should learn to count. They did win and did belong in the playoffs. You haters always amaze me.

The tournament did a poor job handling the whole thing. Hero’s was ranked first in the division for a good hour before the playoffs started and then they switched it with no notice or explanation. Also, if you look at Genesis standings from last week, 3-1 was a better record than 2-0-2. Just very bizarre.
