Related to the earlier post on men coaches, the thing we will miss most about YJMA is the excellent women coaches who were supportive and positive of each of our girls. My daughter learned so much from them and they plan to stay with the team.
Coaches were awesome role models for young women. Any young player would be fortunate to have them as their coaches.
Sounds like you just outgrew the team. Good to hear that the coaches and team are still an option for 2030s.
Hilarious! Not even a close assessment...the whole team looked for an escape plan. This is not a simple "outgrowing the team". This environment was completely toxic and the mass exodus was no coincidence.
+1
11 girls to Capital and the rest fleeing in different directions. No idea why the truth that people were posting on here would all be removed, but if this team gets enough players to still exist, join at your own risk!

Not even close. BLC parents are fairly civil. SW parents are the worst in my experience. It’s the only team where I’ve seen parents challenge other parents to a fist fight.

Last year I saw a BLC2030 parent scream at a LI player during and after a game. Was told it was not out of the ordinary. Same with YJMA parents.
