Because sometimes they are great at throwing together a really good meal using ALLLLLL the shortcuts. When you look at their cookbook you trust that an easy recipe is just that...easy. I don't know that I'd buy her cookbook, but the times she has posted a recipe it has usually been something that is so easy, but delicious. I think I still have her pizza dough recipe around here somewhere.

I would hate to serve the gods Jen serves 24/7.

I noticed that once Jen departed from more traditional Christianity, and to a more liberal brand of it, the percentage of her apology posts increased a hundredfold. Her new followers are more Pharasaical than the most fundamentalist of her former fans.

It's interesting how these Always Online influencers are so incredibly desperate for public approval and affirmation but at the same time they hold themselves up as super strong and independent winners. I would hate to serve the gods Jen serves 24/7. That sort of life sounds miserable and empty.

So I guess now that she is a full "empty nester," it will be all shilling, all the time. She's just an influencer now. I'm one of the Christians that originally followed her and bought her books for that content. I've unfollowed her because she is so unrelatable to me.

It was definitely intentional. She doesn’t have a post without linking her clothing. She’s an influencer (whether most of us here like it or not) and she most definitely plans her fits. However, I say good for her. It’s innocent enough, being a popular Austin spot. These shirts are ubiquitous in Austin—any Texas college town, really. Brandon may not have even noticed. However, Tina is about town with her honkin’ engagement ring. That’s definitely a more conspicuous way to say “Brandon’s.” If the shirt gave her more confidence in that moment, then good for her. It’s so hard to navigate co-parenting after betrayal.

I’m glad they’re co-parenting during major events. Whatever’s going on with either of them, they both get props for this.

Two things: Jen is probably relieved that Remy is living elsewhere.

Hatmaker-adjacent: Glennon's latest video is one of the crazier things I have seen. She has these wild eyes and looks possessed. I wouldn't want her as either of my children's partner. Woman is loony. Poor Abby.

It probably was intentional, but also I think Brandon bought that shirt for her. I recall a story she told a time about Brandon buying her all the T-shirts from all the cool Austin joints.

Geez Jen just continues to use Remy for content. Posting the host mom’s text and details on Remy’s last message to Jen is just so invasive. Is that all part of Jen’s codependency or her narcissism?
